Christmas in July- Water Aerobics Style

 By day- I am a librarian- but by evening- I am a Water Aerobics Instructor.  I LOVE working in aquatics.   I have my certification from AEA

I love a theme-so of course Christmas in July was a perfect theme! During the summer I teach 2 classes on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (regular water aerobics and a Tabata Style) and on Saturdays I teach an Aqua Trek and a regular water aerobics.  Although the story stays pretty close to the same- I try to change up the exercises for those that attend all my classes.

Things I did:
-invited participants to bring school supply items to donate to Irving Schools Foundation
-had Christmas music ready (tried to do different music for each class)-I LOVE Power Music
-had a FUN bathing suit that makes me giggle everytime- from Swim Outlet
-Photo opportunities (Invited participants to get festive- and there were some cute headbands -looking at you Regina and Jennifer)

We did have a relay race- and thanks to Joyce we were able to use some cute Rubber Duckies that were holiday themed- will be using those again.

I wanted to do a Summerween this summer- but it just didn't work out.  Last summer I had a 80s themed workout and will have more themes that I share.
